Why I Started This

In larger businesses the finance function gives leadership real intelligence: scenario planning, live margin tracking, forward looking models that shape strategy. Most SMEs never get near that. They get year end accounts, a quarterly VAT return, and a best guess at how things are going.

I started AI Finance Partners to close that gap.

I began my career in operations, not finance. So when I moved across in 2017 I already knew what good finance support looks like from the receiving end, and how rarely businesses actually get it. That operational background means I build finance around what the MD actually needs to know, not around what is easiest to produce. If a report does not help someone make a decision, it should not exist.

In the years since that move I have rebuilt commercial models pulling from complex data sources and rolled them out nationally across multiple teams. I have built multi million pound long range budgets from scratch and led large scale financial planning through periods of serious growth. The work has always been hands on and close to the business, not theoretical.

Compliance matters and I take it seriously. But I have never been the person who lets compliance become the reason nothing gets done. You put the right controls in place and then you deliver. The controls are there to protect the work, not to prevent it.

AI Finance Partners puts a commercially minded accountant at the top of your finance function. The AI does the heavy lifting underneath, like a sharp junior accountant supporting a senior one. It is never working on its own and everything it produces is reviewed. You get the speed and capacity of a larger team with the judgement of someone who has been doing this for years.
