Arrival & Access
Key collection
There is a key safe located beside the front door. Your access code will be sent to you separately before check-in. Please return the key to the key safe when you leave the property.
Parking
Lowenek House has gated parking with space for 2 cars. To open the gate from the outside, enter 2012# on the keypad. If the keypad is not responding, have a look at the release lever on the motor box by the gate. When the lever is out, you can slide the gate across by hand. When the lever is pushed in, the gate is locked and only the keypad will open it.
Getting here: Perranporth is well signposted from the A30. St Pirans Road runs parallel to the beach and the property is number 22.
During Your Stay
Upstairs shower
The upstairs shower is low pressure on all modes, so you will notice a gentle flow rather than a powerful stream. For the best temperature control, please set the dial to ECO mode. The temperature tends to be more consistent on ECO than on the standard setting.
Bins & Waste
Please sort household waste across the bins just inside the parking gate on the left. Glass goes in the black boxes with yellow lids. Everything else, including cardboard, food waste, and general household rubbish, goes in the two blue bins and the single black bin.
The bins and glass boxes are collected every Saturday. The team cannot get through the gate if two cars are parked on the drive, so we would really appreciate you wheeling everything outside the gate on Friday evening ready for collection. If you are able to bring the bins back inside the gate once they have been emptied on Saturday, that would be brilliant. Missed collections mean the waste builds up and the next guests arrive to overflowing bins, which none of us want. Thank you for helping keep Lowenek ready for everyone who stays.
House Rules
We want you to feel completely at home. We keep things simple with just one rule:
You are very welcome to smoke outside in the garden or parking area.
Checkout
Before you leave, we would be grateful if you could:
- Pile all used towels together (bathroom floor is fine)
- Make sure all windows and doors are closed and locked
- Return the key to the key safe beside the front door
- Place glass in the black boxes with yellow lids and all other waste in the blue and black bins
